The C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF) is a joint project of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It was launched during COP21 in Paris, to support C40 cities in developing and emerging countries in preparing and delivering sustainable, low carbon and climate action projects. The CFF is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Agence française de développement (AFD).
