Fidelis International Institute for Business Ethics is an organization aimed to promote ethical practices in the world of business in accord with Christian social principles. Fidelis has the following objectives: • TEACHING: To offer courses and lecture series in business ethics at academic institutions. • RESEARCH: To conduct or sponsor academic research in the field of business ethics. • PUBLICATION: To produce books and articles on business ethics issues. At present, we are principally focused on doing ethical research of companies. Fidelis has done extensive research in all of the 11 business sectors of the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). For the moment, Fidelis’s research universe consists of more than 1,400 companies from energy, materials, industrials, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, health care, financials, information technology, telecommunications, and utilities sectors. We also strive to keep our finger on the pulse of new trends in manufacturing techniques, environmental protection and social responsibility. Fidelis has a total manpower of 19 persons from Latin America, USA, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain.
