HUB is an architecture and urban design studio founded by Koen Drossaert and Bart Biermans. HUB designs buildings and creates urban development plans. We work on large-scale and complex projects, for both public and private clients, in Flanders, Brussels and the Netherlands. Since our start in 2004 we have built a solid reputation with projects displaying a high degree of architectural, social and intellectual coherence. We believe in the power of well-designed spaces, not only to improve the quality of life of those who inhabit them but also to foster the sustainable transition and create new possibilities for future generations. This belief is what fuels our search for the most generous and transparent answers to the questions put before us. And gives rise to the idea of ‘intelligent’ space embodied by our subsequent responses.
