Iref was founded by Acli in 1968, in order to design and develop research activities on social issues. It is today one of the major italian research institutes and boasts fifty-years of experience in the field. It achieved many research projects at the local, national and European level. Iref's studies are characterised by integration of methods, passion and expertise, thanks to a highly qualified staff which considers social research as a generative practice.
