Our Mission is to raise funds and make grants to women’s organizations for building leadership amongst socially excluded women (caste, community, religious minority, disability ) and develop sustainable communities in India through support to women leaders and local Women’s Non-Governmental Organizations (WNGOs) working in different parts of the country. Our Vision is to emerge as premier women’s funding organization in India with transparency and accountability to all the stakeholders. Our Goal NIRNAYA, in many Indian languages, means “decision”. We aim at enhancing the decision-making capabilities of Indian women and girls through: • Economic Independence • Political Empowerment • Cultural Equality • Recognition of their own knowledge base • Enhancement of existing skills and knowledge • Development of technical and managerial skills • Advancement of women’s rights • Addressing violence against women • Girl child education
