The Banking Ombudsman Scheme investigates and resolves disputes between customers and their banks. We are independent of scheme participants, customers, and government. Our service is free of charge and easy to use. Anyone can use the Banking Ombudsman Scheme as long as their bank is a scheme participant. Businesses, trusts, partnerships and clubs can use us as well as individuals. Scheme participants include banks, building societies, credit unions and finance companies.
