Clearpath Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, federally chartered credit union based out of Glendale, California. Clearpath Federal Credit Union was originally founded by Eugene B. Walsh, Controller at Ralphs Grocery Company with the approval of the grandsons of Ralphs' founder, George Albert Ralphs. His idea was to bring to Ralphs employees better financial opportunities that provided credit and other banking services so they could enjoy a better way of life. Ralphs Employees Federal Credit Union was federally chartered on June 7, 1954. The name was changed in 1990 to Ralphs Federal Credit Union to represent those employees who left the company or retired. The Credit Union began adding Select Employer Groups (SEGs) to expand our field of membership. After adding several SEGs and starting our branching network, the name was changed to Clearpath Federal Credit Union to reflect the diversity of its entire membership. Since our early roots, Clearpath has been continuously expanding and serving the financial needs of its members with a wide variety of products and services, cutting-edge technology and our ever-present commitment to help each member reach their full financial potential. Lifetime membership lets us grow along with our members and their families. Our vision defines our personal focus on each members' financial well being, "Your Dreams. Our Mission."
