The Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) is the first non-profit conservation organization established in Connecticut (1895) and has a mission of connecting people to the land to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open spaces for future generations. CFPA has a small professional staff who work with amazing volunteers to maintain 825 miles of Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails, ensure conservation has a strong voice at the Capitol, offer educational programs for the general public and landowners, and protect over 2,000 acres as a statewide land trust.
