VDG (Van der Graaf) is the market leader in the design and manufacturing of drum motors for material handling and processing belt conveyor applications such as packaging, warehousing, food, mining, aggregate, automotive, and airline, among others. The VDG drum motor is a one-component conveyor drive design, which houses all drive components inside the drum, increasing operator safety, efficiency, and maximizing space utilization. It does not have any external drive components usually associated with a conventional conveyor drive, such as motor, gear reducer, pillow block bearings, sprockets, chain or chain guard. VDG drum motors are available from 0.25hp to 500hp, with wide range of belt speeds and lagging options to suit all types of material handling and processing systems.
