The Ghana Gold Expo 2020 is a strategic initiative that seeks to create a synergy among key stakeholders as well as build proper structures to bring transparency and trading of gold to the people of Ghana and the rest of the world. On March 8-10, 2020, Ghana will play host to industry experts, government leaders, and stakeholders from all over the world, in the whole gold mining value chain such as exploration, mining, smelting, production, consumption, and investment to a historic 3-Day GOLD EXPO. The theme for this year is; Promoting Responsible Gold In Africa. This is in support of the United Nations global mercury partnership initiative aimed to explore innovative market-based approaches to eliminate the worst practices in Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) and enable the transition away from mercury. The Ghana Gold Expo also seeks to actively bring attention to all the leading forces of production, consumption, producing, and imports & exports in Africa and promote the healthy development of the Gold industry and markets.
