Saskatchewan Aviation Museum & Learning Centre
www.saskaviation.caThe Saskatchewan Aviation Museum & Learning Centre was launched in 2007 and renovations commenced in 2017 with the official opening on May 26, 2018. With private donations, in 2018 the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum & Learning Centre (SAMLC) purchased 11,000 square feet of hangar space and began renting another 3000 square feet. The goal is to expand to 30,000 square feet by purchasing adjoining properties as they become available. Through donations and vintage aircraft on loan to the museum, we have collected aircraft that have shaped Saskatchewan’s and Canada’s history. This collection includes both civilian and decommissioned military aircraft from a variety of eras. Our mission is to educate visitors of the historic, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural role aviation has played in the growth and prosperity of our province and country. Our vision is to create a sustainable, operating and flight-ready living museum that stimulates and inspires all ages while entertaining visitors by providing a world-class experience that exceeds expectations.
