Self Help UK has been inspiring communities for nearly 40 years to connect better. Using expertise, training and resources to support peer-led support groups. Self Help UK campaign to keep self-care and peer support on the agenda and strive to make this better. Supporting people to take control of their our own health and wellbeing with the backing of a peer support group. This can encourage someone to feel less alone and more understood. Self Help UK supports volunteers to access funding and platforms they need to run a self-help groups. They have continued to support these groups through the pandemic to find new ways of meeting each week. As a charity they have diversified and adapted to create an online Covid-19 support group for people affected by Coronavirus or 'Long covid' Self Help UK has helped to keep connections going by supporting people to get online.
