The Morel Press Agency is the first and till now the only private and independent Press Agency in Slovenia. We work in this field for more than 18 years. With our information system we currently serve 12 Slovene and foreign media. The service contains 50 to 100 daily news from Slovenia (from local to state level) and abroad ( Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia in particular) where we have our own journalists and partners. We also cooperate with the independent press agencies Fonet Belgrade, Sita from Bratislava, ONASA from Sarajevo, Bulnet from Bolgaria and Mediafax from Romania offer news from USA, Great Britain, Russia, Albania, Greece, China and Italy. Our news comprise themes from politics, culture, science, sport and entertainment. The agency is financed only through the sell of our information service and gets no financial support from the government. Since we are not a progovernment Press Agency we also publish news, information, photos and notes which otherwise wouldn’t come to public eyes and therefore we open the possibility for those news and information which don’t suit the present Government and are not published in progovernment media to come to light. We were the first to publish some of these “unpleasant” news because we believe that the Public has a right to know. We believe that using our service would be very useful at your diplomatic work since you as a good diplomat need to have a broad specter of news to be the best at your work.
