Welcome to the Department of Public Health! The KPCOM Department of Public Health is comprised of the Master of Public Health and the Bachelor of Science in Public Health. The synergy of these two programs offers the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine and Nova Southeastern University (NSU) the opportunity to provide a firm foundation designed to meet the training and education necessary for a formidable public health workforce. The implementation of the BSPH in 2017 was in response to a national call from the Institute of Medicine for integration of public health in health-professions education, as well as the introduction of public health into undergraduate education as a whole.
