Based outside of Boston in a lovely wooded location, Quiethouse Recording is a 972 square foot production facility focused on recording and mixing services. The studio is designed for all genres of music and audio recording and boasts a minimalist feel to accentuate the beauty of our surroundings. Owned and operated by audio engineer Dereck Blackburn, our facility is a wonderful alternative to traditional recording studios in the region. Our recent projects include producing nominated Song of the Year "Stacys Dad" by Lowell, MA based Green Piece, Mixing the new record from Boston Folk Heros "Plumes", and podcast recording and editing for Harvard School of Business.
