Adaleg IT is a Community-Based IT training organization that helps individuals pursue a career in IT, providing them with the necessary skills, know-how, hands-on experience, and networking to leap (HB: “daleg”) into a career in High Tech. We pave a path into the corporate world by building solid relationships with companies in the Americas and Europe (Compugen, Questrade, Telephonica, etc) that give our students an opportunity to gain valuable real-world, hands-on experience and find placement. Adaleg IT helps individuals without any technical background pursue a career in full-stack web development, app development, networking, cloud architecture and design, virtualization, and other high demand technologies. How and why did we start this initiative? In response to the great demand for new skills and the need to find work in communities of the Americas and Europe, Adaleg IT started a new “community based” initiative in 2016. Our primary goal has been to reach out to communities and provide them with the necessary skills and opportunities to tap into the IT industry. Instead of creating a space where all people can come to, we go to communities and work with community leaders and companies in given localities to shape programs that respond to the language, culture, and needs of each community (on a case-by-case basis). The potential that we have found in these communities is high and can benefit the IT workforce through diversification and fresh talent.
