Cardio Blessings
www.cardioblessings.comCardio Blessings was founded in 2017 by two United States military veterans dreaming of ways to serve those experiencing homelessness. Following several tragic back surgeries, Jake Strickland was inspired in his rehabilitation process by L.D. (LaDarren Landrum), to give back to his community. Through the act of walking (cardio), Jake began to give supplies (blessings), to those who found themselves dealing with homelessness. This simple action inspired friends and family to do the same all across the nation and beyond. In 2017, Cardio Blessings has given out hundreds of "survival" packages, backpacks, food and water in over 10 large cities. They have connected people with local organizations, rehabilitation centers, and resources in each city to help them along in their journey. The non-profit organization has also devoted time and resources to help those in the local community in which they live. Through these acts of service, the quest to end homelessness has become a movement that is attracting attention, momentum and meaning. Service to our community has never looked so genuine as with Cardio Blessings. To get involved or for more information, visit Cardio Blessings online or connect with them on social media.
