The Grain of Sand name is inspired by these two ideas: William Blake’s insight that in the smallest and most everyday occurrence, we can see universal truths – we can gain knowledge of the whole by examining the parts; and that from the provocative and controversial, from challenging the status quo, remarkable, even magical, outcomes can be created.
