The Northern Alameda County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (NALCO ARES/RACES) is an affiliate of the American Radio Relay League. It is a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization. NALCO provides emergency communications support to it's served stakeholders. NALCO has agreements with the University of California at Berkeley, the cities of Albany and Berkeley. NALCO also has agreements with Alta Bates, Herrick and Summit Hospitals.
