The Argentine Chamber of Books - CAL - is a non-profit professional association, founded in 1938 for the representation and management of the interests of the Argentine publishing sector. Currently it represents more than five hundred publishers, distributors and booksellers. Our mission is to promote, defend and support the Argentinian publishing industry, while promoting initiatives that contribute to the dissemination of the book and Argentine culture, nationally and internationally.
