NJAWBO (The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners) is the longest-standing statewide women business owners’ organization in New Jersey. Its primary objective is to support and encourage business ownership by women. Since 1978, NJAWBO has helped women achieve their business visions by providing them with the tools to develop and grow their enterprises. The increasing success of women-owned businesses in our society will continue to build on itself and contribute to the development of still more confident women, running thriving, thoroughly accepted businesses. And the very special place of NJAWBO – women supporting women – will continue to be an important environment for women business owners in New Jersey. Our Mission The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners encourages and supports business ownership by women, offering myriad opportunities for networking, collaboration, education, leadership, professional development, and mentoring. NJAWBO serves as the voice of women business owners to the New Jersey Legislature. Through networking we build Relationships which lead to Referrals that result in Revenue. NJAWBO is a membership organization that holds regional and statewide events for networking and learning. Our events often feature speakers who are experts in their field. Our topics focus on areas of interest to business owners. Our members are able to attend these any of these events at membership pricing. Membership is open to women business owners and those who wish to do business with women business owners. Non-members may attend three meetings at the non-member price before being asked to become a member of NJAWBO.
