Semi-Pro Non-league FA Charter Standard Community Club consisting of over 30 playing sides, both Male and Female from age 8 to Veterans. The club was founded in 1880. The first team currently play at Step 3 of the Football Pyramid = Southern Premier ). Most recent seasons (2008/9) Double Winners, wining the Wessex Premier and Dorset Senior Cup. In 2009/10 Back-to-Back Champions of the Wessex League. 2010/11 saw PTFC reach the 4th qualifier of the FA Cup and the Semi Final of the FA Vase as well as promotion after winning the league for a third time in succession, with a record 20 point lead. 2011/12 was our first season in the EVO-STIK Southern League, SWD1. We came second but lost the playoff final. In 2012/13 we were Champions and promoted from the SW Division 1 of the Southern League as well as winning the Dorset Senior Cup and the Southern League Champions Cup. In the 2014/15 Season we won the Southern League Red Insure Cup and the 2015/16 season finally saw us promoted as Champions of the Southern Premier League. Home ground is the Black Gold Stadium at Tatnam in Poole
