The RMF Security Group is a cadre of highly skilled former Security Control Assessors (SCA) who realized the Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Surety communities throughout the U.S. Government are in dire need of help. Our experience working for the 25 Air Force A6 as SCAs provided us tactical knowledge of the challenges transitioning to RMF present. We have assessed a multitude of information systems ranging from cross domain solutions (CDS), to information systems on aircrafts, information systems within the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), all the way up to top secret enterprise service centers. Our hands on RMF experience with these systems spanned from system categorization, to the authority to operate, and on to continuous monitoring. This put us in a unique class of our own as there are very few people that have completed the RMF process thereby producing a full body of evidence (BOE).
