WUDA* is an award-winning architectural practice founded by Florian Wurfbaum and Inês Dantas. WUDA* benefits from the diverse cultural approaches to architecture from its founding partners and collaborators in an open creative process. WUDA* has been published and exhibited internationally. Our work is focused on architecture, spatial design and urban planning, covering projects, research and consulting activities within interdisciplinary strategies and collaborations. Our professional network includes engineers, landscape architects, designers, artists, sociologists and geographers. Architecture is both a catalyst and an interface with other disciplines, at different scales. In our projects we explore the ability of architecture and design to build narratives into space with aesthetic sensibility and functionality. Projects delve a spatial culture that integrates social, cultural, urban and technological arguments, with inherent changes of paradigm, translating these in spatial, tectonic and territorial sustainable strategies. Every project develops in a close dialogue with the client, looking for outstanding solutions to specific situations. At the current time we have on-going projects in Germany, in the United Kingdom and in Portugal. Alonside the practice, WUDA*'s founding partners maintain an active relationship with academia through teaching and research.
