Baltic Control® is a leading global inspection, verification, testing and certification company with its head office in Denmark. The company was established at the port of Aarhus in 1980 to offer inspection services to Scandinavian ports over the Baltic Sea – hence the name Baltic Control®. Today, it is internationally recognized and operates through a network of offices and trusted representatives across the globe. As part of its expansion, Baltic Control reached Bangladesh in 2012 and established a sole authorized representative in Dhaka by the name of Baltic Testing (BD) Pvt Ltd. In mid-2018, a new board consisting of directors well-placed in the local market and strongly committed to taking the journey forward with their diversified experiences and extensive network, took over the management of the joint venture. Baltic Control® is ISO 9001:2015 certified and holds a number of international as well as local accreditations. It is a member of the International Federation of Inspection Companies (IFIA) with representation on its board and, more importantly, the Baltic Control® Group has adopted the IFIA code of ethics and compliance codes throughout its global network.
