Pavillon Afriques is a space devoted to cinema from Africa and its diaspora within the Marché du Film of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. A long-awaited feature in Cannes, it finally came to life for the 1st time in 2019. Pavillon Afriques is dedicated to the promotion of the African movie industry. It helps filmmakers find investors for their projects and distribution for their content. It contributes to put the continent on the map of the movie industry so that they can attract international productions.
