Finán Callaghan is an award winning, independent, multi-disciplinary designer based in Dublin. Finán was trained in visual communication in Dublin School of Creative Arts, a branch of Technological University Dublin. Finán has won IDI Graduate Awards for Best Brand Identity 2020, and Best Use of Printed Material 2020 for his work on the Dublin School of Creative Arts Graduate Exhibition identity & website design. This project featured also on 100 Archive 2020 and Finán was interviewed for an annual series called ‘In With The New’ on the 100 Archives website. Finán has been recognised for his typographic solutions with membership status in the International Society of Typographic Design, the TU Dublin Jacques Teljeur Award for Excellence in Typography and a commendation for Best Use of Typography by IDI Graduate Awards 2020. Finán produces research driven work with a belief that good results come from close collaborations, joint ambitions and mutual respect. His work encompasses graphic identities, products and packaging, wayfinding, website design and development, advertising and communications, and motion, With a dedicated approach to each task at hand, He uses design to make a positive impact for both clients and our shared surroundings.
