The StudentLife Academy is part of the Career Plus initiative of StudentLife.com.cy, which aims to bridge the gap between graduation and employment for the youth market in Cyprus. More specifically, the Academy focuses on closing the Employability Skills Gap by focusing on the development of the youth to prepare them adequately for the labour market based on the needs and demands of employers. The intensive 4-month programmes are comprised of executing real life company projects aimed at gaining work experience, in-depth self-discovery and self-reflection training for personal development and a guided approach to effectively embark on a career. The methodology is designed for participants to deliberately practice hard and soft skills required by specific industries in order to trigger habitual change while moulding appropriate mentalities and attitudes, guaranteeing that they will become employed as a result.
