www.farleyfoundation.orgThe Farley Foundation is a charitable organization that assists pet owners in need by subsidizing the non-elective veterianry care of their sick/injured pets. To date, with the generous assistance of Ontario veterinary practices, private donors and corporate partners, we have disbursed over $2.29 million to assist more than 5,700 people and pets across Ontario. Eligible pet owners*: - Seniors receiving the Federal Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) - Disabled individuals receiving the Ontario Disability Support Payment (ODSP) or CPP Disability - Ontario Works recipients - Pets belonging to senior care facilities (long-term care facilities, supportive housing, retirement homes) - Women at risk of abuse who are entering registered women's shelters in Ontario and who are participating in OVMA's SafePet Program (a program which assists abused women by providing temporary housing & care for their pets while the women are in women's shelters). Founded and generously administered by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association.
