Vella’s Civil is a family owned business, located in Farleigh within the Mackay Region specialising in Civil Construction Projects, Machinery Hire and Quarry Product Sales. For over 10 years Vella’s Civil have serviced the Mackay, Whitsunday and Bowen Basin regions. Quarry Products - A vast array of quarry products are supplied to local and state government authorities as well as to private contractors and the public from its two quarries located at Palmyra and Walkerston. Relying on close relationships with customers, Vella’s takes pride in providing a variety of quality quarry products, used in a range of construction projects, including decomposed granite, aggregates for production of concrete, road sealing and crushed rock products for road building and pavement construction. All materials meeting the required Main Roads standard number CT147 (Railway Ballast). As part of our own quality system, testing is carried out by a certified NATA laboratory at required frequencies, with all tests being accredited for compliance with ISO/IEC17025. Civil Construction - Our management team has extensive experience within the civil construction industry and having had a vast range of experience completing a variety of projects within a professional, timely and committed manner. These attributes have made Vella’s Civil one of Mackay/Bowen Basin’s highly regarded civil construction businesses. Machinery/Equipment Hire- In addition to our quarries and projects, Vella’s also have a number of fleets available for short/ long term hire either wet or dry. These range from bobcats; excavators; scrapers; dozers; graders and trucks. Our fleet can be easily relocated to your site with our own float. We also specialise in scrub pulling, stick raking and dam sinking. All operators are Workplace Health and Safety certified and all hold current Construction Blue/White Cards.
