Hamdard University is one of the biggest seats of higher learning in the Private Sector located in Karachi Sindh established by Hakim Muhammad Saeed in 1991. The actual appearance of the university was just the culmination of a long dedicated and continued effort spanning his whole life. The University has been designed to provide quality education by engaging highly qualified and experienced faculty who would groom down-trodden youth and convert them as an efficient, confident and responsible citizens of Pakistan. Though the emergence of Hamdard University on the educational scene of Pakistan is in a fledgling stage yet the evolution it has witness thus far sets the trend that others are trying to replicate. The Main Campus of Hamdard University at Madinat al-Hikmah is spread over a picturesque landscape that spreads over 350 acres. It is an the context of this natural setting and historical site that Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said envisioned and established Hamdard University- now one of the biggest seats of higher learning in the private sector.
