Erodex (UK) Limited was founded in 1973 to provide a service for EDM consumable supply. The pursuit of new markets led to inroads into metallurgical; semi-conductor; mechanical; electrical and vacuum furnace applications for graphite. The Erodex machine shop has an unsurpassed reputation for producing EDM electrodes and other parts for aerospace, semi-conductor and sundry other industries. The acquisition of BWP has been successful in widening the scope of the company and with the application of the Erodex philosophy of excellence, great advances have been achieved in both quality and service. BWP has over 35 years experience in jig and tool design and build and in 2009 became a part of the Erodex group. BWP offers a complete design service for tooling using autoCAD, Siemens NX Unigraphics and Inventor systems and together with Erodex electrode manufacturing provides a project management service; a single point of contact for all aspects of design; simultaneous design; shorter project lead times and cost and risk reduction.
