Afro Charities, Inc. produces artistic, educational, environmental and charitable programs that support Baltimore's healthy development, connecting residents across generations and socioeconomic divides. Established in 1963, Afro Charities is a non-profit partner of the historic AFRO American Newspapers. Its two legacy programs, Mrs. Santa and Afro Clean Block have impacted Baltimore's citizens for generations. Afro Charities has the great honor of working with the AFRO American Newspapers’ extensive archives. We are actively creating new opportunities for our community to meaningfully engage with this indispensable resource. Afro Charities is a registered 501(C)3 organization.
