Renault Software Factory is an entity entirely dedicated to software engineering at Groupe Renault. It was created on August 1st 2020, bringing together all of the software engineering expertise at the Alliance, including the Renault Software Labs subsidiary created in 2017, within one agile team. Renault Software Factory unites more than 600 engineers, with sites in Boulogne, Guyancourt, Sophia-Antipolis, and Toulouse. It is composed of two entities, one for embedded software and another for offboard software, who work together and for each other to develop end-to-end connected platform software services and extended vehicle platform software.
