ADD is primarily a manufacturing company that has specialized in the field of fibre optic converter manufacturing. Knowing local conditions and practices enables us to deliver products to the South African market that are both relevant to and built to withstand local conditions and demands. However, having in-house developers and engineers also enables us to develop tailor made solutions for our clients leading to ADD’s involvement in many interesting and varied projects over the years. For example, most recently ADD has been working closely with PRASA and Rail Engineering in developing an automatic announcement and train tracking system.
