Tinashe is a former high school math teacher with over 12 years of experience in education and teacher training. She is now a Google for Education Certified Innovator & Trainer who travels around the United States to train hundreds of teachers on using technology to enhance their instruction. She is also a member of the leadership teams of the Louisiana Google Educator Group and EdCamp New Orleans. Tinashe has built a strong reputation as a skilled communicator and tech-savvy educator who has been invited to present by local, state, national, and international education organizations, including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). She is best known for her presentations on G Suite for Education and integrating technology in the secondary math classroom. With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Tinashe has also taught pre-service teachers at the University of New Orleans.
