The Department of Chemistry, established in 2008, focuses on innovative and active teaching environment along with involvement in dynamic areas of research. The main objective is to make students understand the versatile nature of chemistry and be able to coalesce it with other disciplines to have a wider view of the subject. The degrees offered by the department are M.Sc Chemistry and PhD. programme in both core and interdisciplinary research areas. Opportunities to present one’s research work in International and National Conferences are also provided. Many such conferences are organized and conducted on campus itself.
