The Athens News is Greece's oldest and highest-circulation English-language newspaper. It founded in 1952 by Yannis Horn and was initially a daily newspaper, until it went weekly in 2001. The Athens News has sections covering every aspect of Greek news – be it politics, economics, social issues, environment, business, arts and entertainment, and sports – as well as international news. Published by the NEP Publishing Group, it is published on Fridays.
