Gant, stylized as GANT, is an international clothing brand headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was founded in 1949 by Bernard Gantmacher and was originally based in New Haven, Connecticut. Gant is recognized as the brand that brought button-down shirts to the mass-market. The company also introduced an award-winning button tab and the "locker loop" to the back of its shirts. Gant currently has 19 stores in the UK and a large network of wholesale accounts and stockist. As well as a large range of Men's shirts, Gant is now a full lifestyle brand that includes womenswear, kids and homeware.
