Wim Boone werd geboren in Brugge op 13 maart 1972. Van jongs af aan zijn auto’s en fotografie de rode draad door zijn leven. Als selfmade man met een technische achtergrond heeft hij met die eerste passie ondertussen een link in zijn hoofdberoep kunnen leggen: Sales Manager voor een Duitse multinational, actief in de automobiel sector. In de loop der jaren werd de interesse in fotografie steeds sterker, een 3-jarige beroepsopleiding tot fotograaf bleef dan ook niet lang uit.
