The Company was founded in 2005 and incorporated in January 2006. Turnover has grown year on year with a marketing policy of targeting repeat and new business within the oil, gas, utilities and FMCG sectors providing clients with a continuity of service from client focused directors. This ongoing relationship development ensures a growth in understanding of our client’s business needs and a guaranteed continuity of personnel. The Hargreaves Jones business model is uncomplicated but effective in that it is based on having six senior directors who are the primary service providers to our clients. Around the directors we have formed highly professional and motivated teams specialising in quantity surveying, planning, project and construction management. The founder members, Peter Hargreaves and Glynn Jones have effectively expanded the business, while increasing turnover, recruiting fellow directors Charles Hewitt and Laurence Rimmer with the business offering excellent experience and capability across the Oil, Gas, Nuclear, Utilities including Overhead Transmission Lines, Pharmaceuticals and Fast Moving Consumer Goods sectors. In 2022, Hargreaves Jones joined Capital Consulting International (CCi), A Rimkus Company. CCi is a global consultancy of delay, quantum, and technical experts, and Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is a leader in engineering and technical consulting. As a result of this acquisition, Hargreaves Jones clients gain a full suite of commercial and project management services.
