MISSION STATEMENT The Persian Arts & Cultural Communities (PACC) exists to strengthen and sustain the legacy of Iranian-American Arts and Culture through community-building, education and art therapy. Mission description: * PACC is a community-based, nonprofit organization that offers arts and cultural programming by and for the Iranian-American diaspora in order to preserve, sustain and continue the legacy of Persian arts and culture. Community Building: * PACC, is a community-based organization that seeks to motivate, engage and enrich the lives of ordinary people through arts & culture. Since its formation, PACC has developed a rich and vibrant community of Iranian-Americans through teaching, leading, and performing traditional Iranian music, poetry and visual arts. * PACC brings together individuals and community groups, strengthen bonds, build cultural identity & unity. *  PACC also facilitates seasonal celebrations, events and performances to showcase the work of the community. Education: * PACC educate the public about Persian arts and culture by programs and workshops. PACC offer weekly workshops in music theory and practice of traditional vocal and instruments, and supplemental workshops in visual art and poetry and more. PACC’s learning strategies are mainly based on understanding the language of each and every art form such as music, poetry and visual arts. Art therapy: * PACC, is a community-based organization that seeks to motivate, engage and enrich the lives of ordinary people through arts & culture. * Persian traditional arts( music, poetry, calligraphy and painting) are potentially therapeutic by nature. Our weekly group vocal music gives energy and release tension. PACC is planning to offer Art Therapy Programs specially for immigrants in the Persian communities.
