Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management(RCOEM) was formerly known as Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College(RKNEC). A student branch (geo – code STB62631) of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) established in RCOEM in the year 2003. Since its inception, IEEE RCOEM Students’ Branch(IRSB) has been helping students hone their technical skills by taking baby steps on the path of professionalism. The IRSB conducts various programs encompassing different technical topics. It helps nurture the new entrants into the industry and makes them cognizant of the latest events and happenings in the technical world. Different speakers are invited at frequent intervals to interact with the members and help them broaden their horizons. IRSB focuses on practical skills, theoretical knowledge as well as overall personality development by conducting various inter-disciplinary meets where students are invited to speak on topics they like. This skill set, that they develop during such sessions, gives them a head-start in their career.
