At iRIS-2020 (now a virtual event), experts from leading academic institutions, E&P and mineral resource companies, geoscience research groups and imaging equipment manufacturers will share their experience of how to take advantage of the multiple imaging modes and scales on offer. Imaging techniques include simple 1D digital profiles of various properties down a length of core material; 2D imaging over a variety of wavelengths: infrared, white light, ultraviolet, X-ray; 2D and 3D scanning electron and ion microscopy; and full 3D X-ray CT, microCT and nanoCT imaging.
