ATHENA Akron, Inc. was founded in January 2015 as an independent 501(c)(3) to provide leadership programming for women leaders in the Akron regional area. The mission of ATHENA Akron is to connect established women leaders, provide emerging women leaders with access to established women leaders, and offer programs for leadership development. ATHENA Akron, Inc. also holds annual licenses to offer the ATHENA Women’s Leadership Day Program; the ATHENA Leadership Award Program; and the ATHENA Affiliate Program. ATHENA Akron, Inc. provides the administration of the lifetime license for the ATHENAPowerLink® Program.
