Champions for Philanthropy, Inc.
www.championsforphilanthropy.comAt Champions for Philanthropy (CFP), we assist professional athletes in their charitable pursuits by serving as philanthropic advisors. We accomplish this by establishing and/or managing their nonprofit organizations, as well as by creating other charitable vehicles and providing direction and avenues to give back. More specifically, CFP provides research and presents ideas and initiatives to help athletes establish 501(c)(3) organizations. We also assist with management, marketing, strategic planning, legal infrastructure and compliance issues for the established foundation. In addition, we work closely with the foundation and the athlete’s team to design, plan and execute programs and projects, as well as to develop strategic partnerships. In instances when establishing a separate 501(c)(3) is not the best option, we help athletes set up tax-exempt events, scholarships and other means of giving back. Our services include: Establishing a 501(c)(3) Strategic Planning Initiative Planning and Implementation Compliance Management Fiscal Sponsorship Event Management Human Resources Legal Infrastructure Marketing Services Champions for Philanthropy was founded by social entrepreneurs Michelle C.
