Based in San Diego, Playwrights Project reaches up to 10,000 people each year in its playwriting programs and productions. Writing programs primarily serve youth in San Diego schools and underserved populations of all ages, including those who have experienced poverty, homelessness, foster care, immigration, substance use disorder, the justice system, and the military.
