LOLA Energy is a locally owned, locally accountable oil and gas operating company focused on horizontal development of shale oil and gas resources. Based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, LOLA Energy is led by a talented team of experienced oil and gas professionals who have successfully developed horizontal shale oil and gas drilling and completion programs. LOLA Energy was originally formed in 2015 and has gone through several transformational changes, most notably the formation of LOLA Energy III, LLC in January 2021 to acquire the former EdgeMarc Energy assets in Butler County, Pennsylvania via an acquisition of Key EM Energy, LLC, now renamed LOLA Energy PetroCo, LLC. LOLA Energy III, LLC was backed by a group of local equity investors brought together by Muddy Creek Energy Investments, LLC, based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and the LOLA Energy III Management Team.
