G-DIP assigns a spot and forward assessment to the value of dairy ingredients. G-DIp creates an assessment by extracting the ingredient value from observed commodity prices and an anticipated trade balance. We publish a biweekly global price assessment of Butterfat and Nonfat Solids in USD/Tonne for spot and three forward months. The assessment is the present value of forward obligations and is not to be mistaken with a forecast of future prices.
