Women in Film and Television Louisiana (WiFT-LA) is a 501c(3) nonprofit formed in 2011 and dedicated to the advancement of women’s careers in all areas of film, video and new media. Membership is open to women at different levels, from student to professional, to participate in the organization’s programs, events, networking and mentoring opportunities. Since November 2016, WIFT Louisiana has become the host of WIFT International (www.wifti.net), a global organization of more than 40 chapters and 10,000 members.
